Trixie, I heard your song on the PBS radio station, 91.7 in Dallas and my attention was caught when the announcer said you were Chris Whitley's daughter. I am one of your grandmother's cousins and I had bought your father's CDs. I saw your grandmother the last time in Houston when we both went to see our grandmother Hill when she was in her 90's.
I love your music and wish you the best in your career. I spoke with your great uncle Douglas Hill about you and am printing some information off the internet for him since he doesn't have a computer (he is 85 and lives in Houston).

I just downloaded your song "I'd Rather Go Blind" for my good friend Tony, since he doesn't have a computer or any technology at all. During that process I realized I really liked the song as well. So now he has a copy and I listen to it on my ipod too. He asked me to look for the new or recent release of the new album from your band "Black Dub". Please advise when it was or will be released. Keep up the great work!
