Dag Trixie, ben juist terug van GentJazz waar ik je optreden gezien heb. Eerlijk gezegd, was ik eigenlijk eerder gegaan voor de Soil & Pimp Sessions ( een paar maanden gezien in De Kreun in Kortrijk ), voor Marc Ribot ( die ik al ontelbare malen meegemaakt heb en die ik de beste gitarist ter wereld vind ) en Chocolat Genius. Maar ik dacht, als zulke muzikanten haar begeleiden moet ze wel goed zijn. Awel, je hebt me gewoon weggeblazen...Van nu af aan ben ik een onvoorwaardelijke fan.
Ga morgen direct je EP proberen aan te schaffen en hopelijk komt er vlug nieuw werk uit. Het was effenaf formidabel. Ook de mensen die mij vergezelden waren unaniem, en die kenden je ook niet zo goed. Moet er wel bij zeggen dat ik 64 jaar ben, en reeds een paar suizend concerten heb ondergaan.

Ik hoop je spoedig terug aan het werk te zien.
Sorry dat ik in het nederlands schrijf, maar mijn engels is niet zo goed. Groetjes

Just got back from your amazing show during Ghent Jazz. What a performance! Having absolutely no clue what to expect I was blown away and above all very emotionally touched. Keep it up, girl, future sure looks bright. Looking forward to your new CD and really hope to meet you some day once you're back in Belgium.

Trixie, I can't believe I just stumbled on your amazingness. I am a huge fan of your father's music. Hearing his music for the first time was literally a cloud-parting moment for me musically back in the early 90's, rivaled only by artists like Pink Floyd, Etta Baker and the Allman Brothers. I miss your father tremendously... his music is important to my past and he is a bonding artist for my wife and I. I had the pleasure of meeting him once backstage when he opened for Warren Zevon and I saw him perform numerous times. I know he often referred to you when he was on stage and I would read your name in his liner notes, but I never really knew what became of you until today. And, oddly enough a good friend of mine turned me on to Daniel Lanois several months ago. Today I was turning him on to your father's music and in the course of searching I found out that you are a talented musician who also happens to play with Daniel Lanois. Sort of blown away right now, but I wanted to tell you how happy I am for you and how much I loved and will continue to love your father's music. Peace.

Hi Trixie :), what you do with your voice, hands and your heart is just simply beautiful..... it's amazing that you own all these feelings which're necessary to sing like you do...with your 22 years, your parents must did an fantastic job and the universe gave you a great talent, you must be a lucky girl :), it was pretty funny to watch the video for "I'd rather go blind" with Brian Blade and Daniel Lanois cause Daniel made the clown and you all had a lot of fun :)), i saw Daniel in Cologne @ Alter Wartesaal around 1989/ 90/91....i'm not really shure which year it was but it was such a beautiful gig......the first time i could feel the energy flow between the musicians during they'd play....they don't even look the whole time at each other.
I got a question, is your gig "On the road" @Paradiso this year in january available on DVD, i must have the DVD, what an emotional moment...., lovely greetings from Eastbelgium... take care and keep the sun your heart

My only request is where do I find your CDs .. I looked every where I can't believe that no one at Montreal imported them
